Once, in the vast realm of light, a little soul sparkled with curiosity.
“I want to know what it means to shine,” it told the Great Spirit.
“To truly know your light,” the Spirit replied, “you must visit the dark.”
“Then send me,” said the little soul. “But let me carry your love.”
Another soul stepped forward. “I will go too,” it said. “When the time is right, I’ll help you remember.”
And so the little soul came to Earth—forgetting all it knew.
It experienced hurt, anger, separation. It wandered, questioning its purpose.
One day, in the middle of its pain, it looked into the eyes of someone who had caused it suffering. Something stirred.
A memory.
“At the moment in the darkness, when I strike you—remember who I am.”
The soul wept, not from sorrow—but from remembrance.
Forgiveness bloomed.
And with it, light returned.
That night, the little soul dreamt of the stars. And when it awoke, it whispered:
“I remember now. I am not lost. I am light, just learning how to shine.”

Service Reflection
Key Theme: You Are a Soul of Light—Sent Here to Remember, Forgive, and Heal
This rich and multi-layered service invites us to:
- Remember our true identity as eternal souls: The soul is the divine garment we wear—a spark of the Great Spirit, infinite and eternal.
- Understand why we are here: Like the story of the Little Soul, we come into the “darkness” of life to discover our light. Every challenge is an opportunity to remember our divine nature and to experience forgiveness, compassion, and love.
- Be active participants in healing the world: Through prayer, meditation, service, and acts of kindness, we radiate healing light and co-create peace and harmony.
- Acknowledge the spiritual truths beyond physical life: We are never alone. Astral travel, spirit guidance, and love continue across dimensions. Death is not an end, but a return to expanded awareness.
In essence: You are not a body with a soul—you are a soul with a body. You came here to remember who you are, to forgive, and to shine your light in a world that needs healing.
