“It’s safe in here,” it thought. “It’s familiar. Warm. Mine.”
But Spirit whispered gently:
“You’ve outgrown this space. There’s a sky waiting.”
The chick resisted. Clung. Until the shell cracked—not out of force, but from life’s growing.
On the other side was light.
Wobbly at first, it stood.
Then looked around.
Then looked up.
It never missed the shell again.
In meditation that day, a woman named Elina saw herself at the gates of a golden light. Her angel showed her a lake—where the past was washed clean, and colours bathed her body in healing.
Each ray peeled something old from her: regret, fear, shame. And when she emerged from the lake, she wasn’t someone else…
She was herself.
More herself than she had ever been.

Key Theme: Let Go of the Old—You Are Being Guided into the New with Love and Trust
This deeply heartfelt and spiritually grounded service invited attendees to reflect on:
- Release and renewal. Like autumn trees shedding leaves or a chick breaking from its shell, we must release the old to grow. Spirit asks us not to cling to what has been, but to trust the new.

- Humility, humour, and heart are all sacred. Stories, jokes, and music added joy to the service, reminding us that spiritual life is also full of warmth and laughter.
