Story: “The sleeping stars”

In a distant realm of Spirit, a soul was preparing to journey to Earth.

The soul hesitated. “But Earth is dark,” it said. “What if I forget who I am?”

A Guide smiled. “That’s part of the plan. You’ll forget, yes—but only so you can remember.”

The soul tilted its head. “And why would I want to forget?”

“Because others have forgotten too. And when you remember, your light will help them remember.”

So the soul agreed and descended into form.

Years passed. The soul became a woman named Mira, who worked, worried, and did all the earthly things. She often felt like something was missing—but couldn’t say what.

One night, after a day of grief and confusion, Mira stepped outside. The stars were glowing—soft, patient, endless.

And something stirred in her.

A memory. Not of facts, but of being.

“You are not lost,” the stars seemed to whisper.
“You are just remembering.”

She wept. Not from sadness, but from relief.

She was a star, walking the Earth in a body, shining quietly—just like the others.

And in that moment, she knew:

She came not to be perfect, but to serve, to love, and to help others wake up.

Service Reflection

Key Theme: The Soul Is Eternal—Live in Service, Shine Your Light, and Remember Who You Truly Are

This beautiful and heartfelt service was deeply centred on the spiritual essence of the soul and our divine purpose on Earth:

  • The soul is our divine garment. It is the spark of the Great Spirit, the eternal breath that gives us life and consciousness—it is who we are beyond our physical form.
  • Service is the highest act of spiritual devotion. As Silver Birch teaches, the greatest joy is to help others awaken to their light—especially in a world where many feel lost or spiritually asleep.
  • We are never alone. Our guides, loved ones, and the ministry of angels walk with us at all times. We are invited to trust in their presence and ask for help.
  • Our flaws are part of the gift. Just like the cracked pot story mentioned in other services, even our imperfections may serve to nourish others when we live authentically and in love.

In essence: You are a soul on a sacred journey. Be a light in the darkness, serve with love, and trust that your presence matters deeply in the world.
