Story: “The door in the classroom”

There was once a school hidden deep in the hills. But this wasn’t an ordinary school. Its students didn’t remember enrolling, and no one seemed to know who the teachers were.

Each day, students faced new lessons—joy, heartbreak, forgiveness, patience, compassion. Some excelled. Others struggled. Most forgot why they were there at all.

Except for one student—an old woman named Mara.

Mara remembered.

She had once walked through a golden door before entering the school. A guide had said, “You are here to learn one thing: Love. Everything else is just the test.”

So when classmates fought or wept or gave up, Mara didn’t judge. She offered kindness, a hand, a smile.

She whispered, “We’re here to love. That’s the only grade that matters.”

Years passed. One by one, students began leaving through another door. No one returned.

Then, one day, it was Mara’s turn. She opened the final door and gasped—not because it was the end…

But because it looked just like the golden door she had walked through before.

And standing on the other side was her guide, smiling.

“Well done,” they said. “You remembered the lesson.”

Service Reflection

Key Theme: This Life Is a Spiritual School—Love Is the Lesson, the Journey, and the Answer

The heart of this spiritually immersive service focused on the journey of the soul through life, death, and transformation:

  • We are eternal souls on a temporary earthly journey. The story of the dragonfly beautifully symbolises that what seems like the end is a transformation into something more expansive.
  • Life on Earth is a schoolroom. We are here to learn one core lesson: Love. All other experiences—joy, pain, relationships, loss—serve this central spiritual purpose.
  • We are never alone. Our guides, Spirit loved ones, and the Divine walk beside us at every step, waiting for us to ask for help.
  • Our souls are meant to shine. The energy of love, healing, and light is meant to be shared—to help transform the world from within, through prayer, service, and presence.
  • Death is not the end, but a doorway. Like the water beetle who became the dragonfly, our loved ones don’t disappear—they simply exist in a higher form, waiting until we too awaken to our full light.

In essence: You are a soul in Earth’s classroom. Love is your syllabus, Spirit is your guide, and transformation is your destiny.
